We make it a priority to accommodate groups of all sizes. The ranch sits on one of the most active flyways in the nation for dove and offers some of the best dove hunting around. Texas dove hunters can enjoy active dove fields, outstanding food, and comfortable lodging. Our dove hunts are conducted in areas close to Trent, Abilene, and Sweetwater. These areas are known for producing high volumes of the native mourning dove and offer hunters plenty of opportunities to cash in on white-winged dove as well.

Dove Hunting Packages

Most of our Texas dove hunts are scheduled on weekends for a total of 3 days & 2 nights. We can make arrangements for you or your group and all of our dove hunts are customizable. Lodge exclusivity is available at varying prices depending on the time of season and demand. The fully outfitted dove hunting package includes lodging, meals, guides, bird cleaning, and packaging so you can bring your birds home with you. Whether it's a fully guided corporate group or a group of seasoned and or beginner hunters, your experience with Sweetwater Creek Lodge will be your most memorable dove hunting trip to date.

What to Expect

Meals
We offer a wide range of meal options ranging from meals prepared by professional chefs, good ole-down-home cooking done by Bob and his family, to allowing hunters to bring their own food and cook for themselves.
- Breakfast
  On morning hunts we prepare delicious breakfast burritos. We deliver them to you in the field so you don't have to miss out on the early morning action.
- Lunch
  We often keep it simple, unless asked otherwise you can expect large homemade sandwiches during the afternoon downtime between hunts. Sometimes hunters will donate their dove to be cooked at lunchtime.
- Dinner
  Dinner can range from Texas-style bbq, ribeye steak, and other ranch-style meals, to Tex-Mex quesadillas. Of course, we are open to suggestions/recommendations if reasonable.
Experienced Guides
Birds will be cleaned and bagged for you by our guides after your hunts.
We do not provide ammunition/shells, decoys, etc.
